Top 1,5-2 cm
Middle 1-1,5 cm
Bottom 0,5 cm going to the small end

Weight of the thick dreads:
50 cm, 10,2 gram per dread
43 cm, 8,3 gram per dread
33 cm, 4,9 gram per dread

The main difference with the real appearing dreads is that these dreads are more fluffy which gives a nice loose fall of your dreads. For a full head with thick dreads you need about 35 dreadlocks.
